Crunchy, delicious and golden waffles with fruit sorbet and chocolate sauce.

These waffles can also be used for breakfast on weekends. And if you leave out the sweet parts (vanilla powder and syrup), they are an easy substitute for bread.

Serves 10 waffles

YOU WILL NEED

  • 450 g cooked white beans (from a can or glass is fine)
  • 2/3 cups water or almond milk
  • 200 g of buckwheat flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 3 tablespoons coconut syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • coconut oil for frying

Blend all ingredients together. Fry the waffles in a waffle iron.

If you don't have a waffle iron, you can cook the dough as regular pancakes instead.
