This recipe is taken from my book 42 Raw. It is not just full of nutrients, it also tastes ridiculously good!

Yields: 1 litre


  • 1 litre of ice cold water
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 3 large Medjool dates
  • 3 tbsp. raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla powder
  • Ice cubes
  • Kitchen appliances: blender


Blend water, hazelnuts and dates to make hazelnut milk. Strain the nut milk through a nut milk bag or cheese cloth. Add the cacao powder and vanilla powder to the milk, and blend away. Serve with ice.
