Liquorice and cocoa is a bold combination, and with the cream like taste and the crunchiness of the almonds you have a unique and intense taste experience. Try my Licorice Almonds here:

Serves 5

YOU WILL NEED

  • 200g almonds
  • 80g cocoa butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut butter
  • 3 drops of liquid stevia
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower lecithin
  • 20g raw cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon liquorice root extract

HOW TO MAKE LIQUORICE ALMONDS

Gently melt the cocoa butter and the coconut butter in a bain-marie until completely melted and without lumps. Add stevia and sunflower lecithin and mix well. Fold the almonds, one at a time, into the white chocolate and place on a piece of baking parchment. Fold the wet almonds thoroughly in a mixture of cocoa and liquorice powder. Place on the baking parchment and leave to set in the fridge before serving.
