You can easily purchase a “starter-kit” online that contains more or less everything you need to get your at-home-fermentation started. So why not make your own homemade yogurt?

If you buy a starter-culture online, make sure that it is free from artificial additives, starches, sugar, yeast, and gluten.

  • 2 litres of biodynamic milk (all milks will work)
  • 1 litre of organic double cream
  • 1 sachet of probiotics

HOW TO make homemade yogurt

Heat the milk and the double cream in a pot up to 85 degrees Celsius. Cool down to approx- imately 45 degrees Celsius and gently stir in a sachet of probiotics. Pour the mixture in to glass jars, close the lid, and let it sit in room temperature. After 10-12 hours the jars are ready to go in the fridge for a couple of hours, and then eaten.
