Many often find that grapefruit juice is a bit too bitter. But with vanilla and lime it becomes both sweet and fresh.

This recipe is especially good if you have insulin imbalances.

1 person

YOU WILL NEED

  • 2 large grapefruits
  • 1 lime
  • 1 vanilla pod

HOW TO PREPARE THE GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

Press grapefruit and lime with a citrus press. Stir with a vanilla pod and let the juice "infuse" a little with the vanilla pod. You can dry the vanilla pod and use it again several times. Vanilla pods are great for flavoring water together with citrus fruits.

NOTE! Grapefruit affects the degradation of certain types of medicine. Therefore, avoid eating grapefruit if you are taking antidepressants, blood pressure regulating medication, valium and sedatives, epileptic medicine and estrogen therapy.
